A counter is located at the airport (in Gibraltar), but the parking is in Spain, just next to a frontier, what makes things easier as it's much faster to cross the frontier on foot than by car. Note that if you are picking up the car from Spain, not arriving by plane in Gibraltar, you have to cross the border and go into the airport Arrival (Gibraltar side) counter next to the entrance doors. Keys are provided and you cross the border again to pickup the car at the parking lot (Spain side).
